The College of Nursing was established in 1995 for professional nursing education that can play a leading role in the health management of the central region community. The first graduates were turned out in 1999.
The RN-BSN course was established in 2000, the nursing graduate school’s master’s degree course in 2001, the home nursing course in 2006, the geriatric nursing course in 2007, and the infection management nursing course in 2009, the doctoral degree program in nursing in 2014, and the oncology nursing course in 2018. The establishment contributes to the increase in quality and unification of nursing education and was promoted to the College of Nursing in August 2014 as a new step for further development.

Based on the founding principles of our university, we equip students with scientific knowledge and therapeutic care ability based on human respect. They will be trained to maintain and promote the optimal well-being of the recipients. The medical service field continues to change quickly, and so does its requirements, and to meet those requirements, we operate a systematically integrated curriculum to train professional nurses.
Through our outstanding and distinguished practical training at the university hospital, our college graduates are excellent professional nurses that are currently working as leaders in various clinical areas domestic and overseas, education and academic fields, health administration, and the community.
