Established in 1995, Konyang University’s College of Medicine has been continuously developing. The university hospital was established in 2000, at the Daejon Medical Campus. In 2006, the College of Medicine was relocated from the Nonsan Interdisciplinary & Creative Studies Campus to Daejeon Medical Campus, and together with Konyang University Hospital, it has created a synergy for future development.
The College of Medicine is committed to fostering genuine healthcare professionals with the spirit of honesty, creation, and service that can value human life.In particular, we strive to educate qualified and trusted doctors who can provide quality health care in the community and furthermore the nation.
To fulfill these objectives, the whole course of medical studies is systematically handled by the College of Medicine. The building of character, which we believe to be the essence of medical personnel, are done by student participation in experience-based personality education, voluntary social work, and various club activities. The students also practice clinical medicine at the Konyang University Hospital, which is equipped with state-of-theart medical equipment.
